The Holidays at Lake Lucerne
The holidays are a very special time of the year for Lake Lucerners. From decorations to parties to the solemn luminaries that light every street on Christmas Eve, the Lake is a very special place to be during this magical time of the year.
Tying of the Greens
The annual Tying of the Greens is the first sign that the holidays are right around the corner. This annual tradition is spearheaded by the Garden Club. Pine roping and brightly colored red bows adorn the public spaces, mailboxes and the beautiful causeway over the Lake.
Visit with Santa
No trip to the mall for our Lake Lucerne kids! Santa makes a special visit to the beach each year to hear their Christmas wishes.
The Holiday Party
A yearly tradition that is certain to bring out the Holiday Spirit in everyone!
The 2016 Holiday Party was coordinated by Beth Hutchison and her team of elves. It was magical to see how they turned the Pine Lake Trout Club into a beautiful winter wonderland.
Every year the Lake community holds the Holiday Party in December. Neighbors and friends gather together sharing stories, laughs and holiday cheer (and plenty of great food and cocktails) as we celebrate the magic of the season.
Stay tuned for details for the 2017 gathering.
Christmas Eve Luminaries
As evening falls on Christmas Eve and families gather together to spend this special time with their loved ones, our community places hundreds of white luminaries throughout the neighborhood, creating a sense of peace and tranquility on this very special evening.
If we've all been good this year we're usually blessed with a blanket of snow which adds to the magic of this very special season.
