Lake Lucerne is guided by an incredible team of volunteer neighbors who donate their time to ensure that our community remains the top-notch, beautiful neighborhood that we call home. Below are the 2018 Board Members. Please feel free to contact them with concerns. Remember, we're all volunteers so your patience and understanding is paramount.
Anne Randall, President
Anne Randall has lived in Lake Lucerne for 50 years and is possibly its number one cheerleader. She has served as President in the late 80's, two more years in the 90's and is eager to make a contribution in 2018. All nine of her grandchildren were raised in Lake Lucerne and proclaim it the very best place to raise a family. Anne's assumed her current term in January, 2018.
Mike Byrne, Vice President & ARB Chair
Mike and his wife Laura have lived in Lake Lucerne together for about 3 years, but.... Laura was actually born and raised in the Lake and her parents, Todd and Cindy Raskin, have been residents for over 30 years. On St. Patrick's Day, Laura and I welcomed the newest addition to their family, a baby boy Nolan. Mike has been on the Board since January 2017, and is looking forward to helping Lake Lucerne be wonderful home that the residents all know and love. Mike assumed his term as VP in January, 2017.
Maureen Graham, Treasurer
Maureen Graham has lived in Lake Lucerne since 1993; along with her present position as Treasurer, Maureen has served as a Street Rep since 1993. Over the span of 24 years, Maureen has enjoyed and been involved in planning the Easter Egg Hunt, Santa Visit, Clean Up Day, Clam Bake, 4th of July and served as a Swim Team Parent Leader. Maureen has fond memories of days at the beach while raising her now grown daughter. Maureen has served as Treasurer since 2009.
Tammy Most is the Assistant Treasurer and should be contacted with questions about dues as well as home title transfers.
Kathy Supan, Secretary
Kathy and her husband Tom, have lived in Lake Lucerne since 1987, first on Sunset, and now on Summit. All 4 of their children attended Kenston schools. They are now enjoying the Lake Lucerne experience with their 2 grandkids, who live nearby. Kathy assumed her role as secretary in January, 2017.
Stephen Wright, Beach Trustee
Steve grew up in Lake Lucerne and he and his wife have lived here since 2012, with their 3 boys: Andrew, Jonathan and Benjamin. He enjoyed growing up in the Lake and wanted his family to have the same experiences. One thing that stands out to him is the sense of community. It is nice how people help each other and people still wave to each other. Steve has been Beach Trustee since October, 2016.
Pete Krause, Lake Trustee
Pete and his wife Beth have lived in Lake Lucerne since 1993. They raised three children - Ethan is a sophomore at Kenston, Maggie is a freshman at Ohio Northern University and Andrew is a junior at Ohio Northern University. Pete has served on the Board since 2007 and has served as Lakes Trustee since 2007. their family is very involved with Lake Lucerne. They co-chaired the 4th of July festivities and Beth served on the Lake Lucerne Board as VP and President. Beth volunteers with the Garden Club and participates in the Lake Lucerne Book Club. All three of their children have been on the Swim Team.
Linda Nichols, Membership Trustee
Linda has been a Lake Lucerne and Westhill resident since 2006 and she has immensely enjoyed the many opportunities to connect with neighbors in our wonderful community. She is a street rep, has been an active member of the Book Club and Garden Club for a decade, and is very proud to be known to many as Mama Leech, coordinator of the Lake Lucerne Swim Club. Linda's husband, John, and her three grown kids - Sean, Andrew, and Emily, just love when she suckers them into tying greens, swimming and coaching, and selling swim meet concessions. But all is forgiven when it's Linda's turn to host Book Club and they get to eat all the yummy leftover goodies. Linda assumed her role as Membership Trustee in January 2018.
Scott Munn, Parks Trustee
Scott and his wife Jess purchased their house in 2013 and followed a Lake tradition of adding on & renovating their home! And like many, there's still plenty of work to be done!
They have 2 young boys, Luke and Matthew. Scott grew up in nearby Newbury and Jess is from Aurora, IL. The Munn family has lived in Geauga county since the Early 1800s. Scott has served as the Parks Trustee since 2017.
John Giles, Roads Trustee
John Giles has been a lifelong resident of Bainbridge, moving here in 1957, his wife Sue in 1963. They both are Kenston graduates and all 4 kids also graduated from Kenston. They moved to their house on Summit in 1990 and have added on many times. John and Sue have been very involved in Lake Lucerne as John has served as Roads Trustee, Vice President, and on the ARB. Sue has served on the ARB and together they have chaired the 4th of July twice and have run the Gong (non-talent?) Show too many times to remember. You may see them in their yard with kickball games, easter egg hunts, etc. with their 10 grandkids. John has served as the Roads Trustee since 2017.
Greg McBride, Sports Trustee
Greg McBride is the current Sports Trustee, assuming his role in January 2018. Greg and his wife Holly live on Sunset Drive; they moved to The Lake in October 2015 and it felt like home right away. Both are native to Northeast Ohio as Greg grew up in Conneaut and Holly is from Pepper Pike. The McBrides have two children...Beau and Sophia. Being the Sports Trustee is a perfect fit for Greg as he is an avid sports fan and takes pride in the facilities provided to the residents of Lake Lucerne. Greg assumed this position in January, 2018.
Terry Franklin, Water Trustee
Terry Franklin and his wife Elle have lived in Lake Lucerne for 37 years. They have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren who all attended Kenston schools. They all live close by and enjoy the Lake Lucerne community. Terry has served as the Water Trustee and also the water monitoring position which are closely relate, since 2011.
Jeff Wright is the Water Operator and manages the day to day operations of the water system.
